Matteo Ferri is a fictional character and this is a demo. You walk through BeSuix in his shoes, with no account and no real data: neither he, nor the companies, nor the offers on this page exist.
Matteo is an Italian data analyst in Amsterdam. He has two and a half years of consulting behind him and fourteen months out of the market: he and two others built a second-hand bike marketplace that they shut down in June. His CV runs in two columns that ATS do not parse well, carries a fourteen-month hole that is the first thing a recruiter looks at, and after almost four years working with data it does not contain a single number.
Building his profile surfaces what he had not told anyone: the unit economics dashboard he built, which is what made the three of them decide to close instead of stretching it another year; sixty user interviews, nearly all done in person; twenty bike workshops talked into becoming pickup points one by one; the month at a warehouse in Utrecht where he found out the data he was charting so neatly was typed by hand at five in the morning by someone on the night shift; and a year delivering by bike in Milan during university.
Operational analytics with street knowledge, which is exactly how he works. The fourteen months stop being a hole the moment they are told as what they were: running the data and operations of his own company, unit economics included. SQL, Python and dashboards are more than covered; experimentation and dbt are the weak spots, both nice-to-have.
His product judgement fits: he built the company and talked to sixty users. What holds him back is specific and sits in the offer itself, because the company admits it has a dashboard that does not reconcile with its payment provider, and that calls for someone who has already fought that exact fight. Nothing in Matteo's profile proves he has, so Iris does not fill the gap in: it asks him. That is the difference between finding out and making it up.
The craft is more than there, including the years defending numbers in front of people well above his rank. The blocker is not something a CV fixes: they ask for fluent Dutch and he speaks it conversationally. Iris says exactly that, and shows how far the score would reach without that requirement. Knowing the ceiling is the language and not the profile is useful, even when the answer is no.
